Slug Creatures (Doctor Who - "Dot and Bubble")

Someone on r/DoctorWho was asking for a 3D printable slug model, and I volunteered to make one. Because- as I'm pretty sure I've mentioned multiple times before- I love sculpting weird creatures. And these little guys have a relatively simple design, so I thought it'd be pretty easy to knock out in an hour or two.

Took an extra hour thanks to Blender crashing, and needing to decimate the sculpt down from 3 million+ polys, which I have to do in steps because reducing too much at a time ALSO crashes Blender sometimes. Also it turned out the faces on the base were inside-out when I exported that one, so I had to go back in, flip them, and re-export it.

And since I now had the finished model, I figured I'd have a go at trying to recreate the creatures' slimy, slightly translucent skin. That was a lot of fun. Got to hook up some some nodes I don't really use all too often. Really happy with how it turned out.
